Nadia Sirota
Creative Partner with the New York Philharmonic
Nadia Sirota was born in New York City and received both her bachelors and master in viola performance from Juilliard School of Music. Sirota is known for her work as a soloist, especially in regards to contemporary music. She has appeared as a soloist with several orchestras including the Detroit Symphony, Colorado Symphony, National Arts Centre Orchestra, Spanish National Orchestra, and the Orchestre National d’Île-de-France. She has released four albums filled exclusively with commissioned contemporary music. In addition, to her solo playing she is also apart of the chamber group yMusic. Her most recent and exciting project is being named as the New York Philharmonic’s first ever Creative Partner.
